The POWs make their escape, at the last second attracting the notice of the Captain (Ander the Viking), but his shots miss as he tries to stop them. He knows right away that pacifist Eliott MacDuff (John Jai) is responsible, and only Mrs. MacDuff stops him from arresting Eliott.
