I agree. I don’t feel that people should always have to be on the defensive. I joke around a lot with my friends, and co-workers, and it’s all in good fun. But when people cross the line, that’s when it’s unacceptable. If you don’t like something or someone, that’s fine, but you don’t have to be mean (sometimes I wonder if people think about how hurtful words can be?).
I know you don’t know me like my friends do, but I like to make people laugh and feel comfortable around me.
A couple of weeks ago I was visiting some friends. One of them had a stroke seven years ago. He’s a hoot and a half. They have a roommate who had a stroke, too. I’ve only met him the one time and he was very quiet. Him and I were sitting on the patio when all of a sudden he started talking to me. I was very happy that he actually struck up a conversation with me. Both of my friends were surprised that he opened up to me like that. I was glad that he felt comfortable enough to do that. Can’t wait to go over there again. Hopefully, he’ll talk to me again.
josh, you’re just that kind of person, even not seeing you in person, the words that come from you speaks volumes, and that’s what I must deal with everyday. I work with people with disabilities, and some of the words people come out with toward them, other staff etc… Just don’t fly with me at all.
I was raised that everybody is the same on the inside, and no matter what you see on the outside, you don’t really know what a person is going through on the inside. We are all blessed in the same way just different ways, and seeing what your gifts are and using it for others instead of being selfish is a start.
My life is amazing,I work two full time jobs, making little money, but the people that I work with, the real one I’m there for, give me a smile when I’m down, laugh to cheer me up at my mistakes to bring me up, and love me for all my faults and not lack of, like others people would.

Thanks, Darkhog, I feel the same way about you. When I was younger, two of my aunts were in wheelchairs, and one had a brace on her leg and walked with a significant limp. I never thought anything of it. Didn’t point, whisper, etc. I loved each of them equally and treated them with respect.
I’m happy to hear that your life is full and filled with joy. I guess it all depends on how how you handle things. For example. When I broke my leg last year I didn’t sit around and mope. My thinking was, I couldn’t change what happened so why feel sorry for myself. I told everyone that this is temporary, my leg will heal and I will be back on my feet.
You are so right about the guys in porn. I personally know I could never be on camera. Thankfully, there are the actors that, as you said, fulfill our dreams, not to mention our fantasies. Once the cameras stop rolling they go about their daily business just like the rest of us, just like you said.
